Spiral Stairs are a go!!!
So frikkin' awesome! The spiral stairs are really a unique addition to the house. I can't wait to put a painting to the left of the extended doorway. I get to combine all sorts of browns and now throw some black in to accent the stairs! As you can see, the stairs are quite heavy and awkward to carry. Luckily I have those two to do the heavy lifting!

Tada! Awesome!

Tada! Awesome!
Take out some wall, put down some floor!
So Part of that back doorway was knocked out to widen it, and Al and Chris worked all day working on putting down the flooring for this area of the living room between the kitchen and the sun-room. The rest of the living room is staying carpeted.

But on a more serious note, the new floor looks really awesome! And you can see here how the doorway was extended. It had to be considering that the spiral stairs will be blocking part of the doorway.

As you can see here I have created an artist's rendition of their hard work! haha.

Sun Room Revisited!
So there was a bit of yellow left, and since the sun-room is going to (hopefully) be filled with lots of luscious green and colorful plants, it seemed the right thing to do and put some out there to brighten it up! Go Chris Go! :P Also, got a ceiling fan out there for when it gets a bit muggy which I'm sure it will. I did help paint some of this room and the steps!

Kitchen!
Okay, just in case you have forgotten what the kitchen looked like BEFORE we decided to sprinkle fairy glitter all over it, here is a reminder:

Yeah, I know right? Wood paneling, white and brown... bleh. And I put the shot back up where I had taken the paneling out just so you can see that corner with it's nastiness and that beautiful linoleum flooring that has definitely seen it's end.
So here we go; painting (Behr paint "Pale Daffodil").

Get some trim in there between the colors:

Al and Chris started putting in the new floor which you can see in that upper right one and just below, and then we have the finished product! Turned out pretty good I think!

Revisit the jungle..
The back yard is doing well. I snapped a couple pictures of it. Looks more like a yard now that there is some green coming up! And there is a little Sumac (spelling?) tree growing back there, but it's in a really bad spot. I'm not sure how to pull it up without killing it since it's growing under/between stone, but I want to keep it.. just not there. (* I thought I had a picture of it, but I can't find it.)

Colors to completion
